New here  (United States)

I just learned of this site and would love to hear more about the barefoot trimming and nutritional information.  I live south of you in Madisonville TN.  Do you ever travel that far?  How about clinics?  I would love to attend some.

Re: New here  (United States)
Hi  Jo Ann,
Glad you found the site! We are new to TN but have had long established practices in Florida ( my trimming) and Rhode Island ( Sharon's training).
I really like www.ironfreehoof.com as an educational site for learning to trim. Paige Poss has been instrumental in my trimming practice. So go there and see her site.
As for nutrition, the more basic the ingredients the better. I tell most new clients that they need to read their ingredient labels. If they do not understand any ingredient, then they need to figure out what it is. We can get into more depth if you need.
Madisonville is far for my regular practice, but I would come out to evaluate and help you formulate a plan for your farm. You can e-mail me privately for my fee.
Yes, we are planning to have some clinics starting in the spring. We will update the site to let everyone know dates, fees and other important information.
If you have specific questions on hooves, nutrition or training, please feel free to ask.
 Thank you in your interest,
hope to hear from you soon,
 Lauren
