At the Nexus Center you have the opportunity to focus all aspects of horsemanship and horse training progression.   You have the option of working with one of our school horses or working with your own horse.  Students are welcome to truck in with a horse for a lesson or even stay over for two or three days.  Sharon is also available to visit you and your horse at your barn (additional travel costs may apply).

Pictured here is Joey a former jumper who came to us with advanced navicular changes.  He is now sound and is currently being retrained in dressage.

work in hand.jpgWork 'in hand' offers a transitional stage between ground work and riding.

Pictured here is Sharon with Dix, a very sensitive Lippizan/Swedish WB.

Ride one of our school horses to hone your own skills or get help from Sharon to develop your riding relationship with your own horse.

Turn on forehand in motion.jpgPictured at left is Sharon on Fogel.  Trained to Grand Prix level he can offer our more experienced riders the opportunity to feel some advanced movements.

Tulsa, pictured at right, is the perfect school mistress.  Always safe she shinesLynne and Tulsa 2.JPG at showing beginners and experienced riders alike how easy riding ought to be!

Training and lessons
Lessons with a school horse - Learn to ride and handle a horse properly working with one of our trained horses.

Lessons with your own horse - Get help solving specific training issues with your horse.  You can either trailer in or Sharon will come to you (certain distance restrictions apply there).

Full training board - Bring your horse to live here at the Center and give him the benefit of regular handling and training by Sharon for an extended period.

Rehab training - Horses at the Center for rehab who's feet  have healed enough to start working again will need rehabilitative training.  Rehab training is the next step in their progression before returning home.  The focus is learning to use their now pain free bodies properly for long term future soundness.

Sales - From time to time we have nice horses for sale.  We will  occasionally take selected horses in for training, marketing and sale.
